knowledge helps us demand better buildings.
we believe knowledge should be open. this area gathers tools, guides, and insights to help architects, developers and consultants embed energy performance into their projects. from benchmarking templates and simulation workflows to plain-language explainers, these resources make environmental design actionable. use them to learn, adapt, and demand better buildings.

what’s “future adaptations for climate change”?
future adaptations for climate change (facc) is our space to imagine what architecture looks like when survival and performance drive design. most buildings today are reactive, chasing certifications or trends. facc flips the question: what if we start with the pressures of climate (heat, storms, rising seas, energy) and design forward from there?
these studies are provocations. each one explores a possible response, grounded in science, but stretched to provoke debate. facc exists to test limits, challenge assumptions, and remind us that adaptation is design.
let’s get to work.
